Chapter 06 · The warranty

If it fails in month 23, I eat the rebuild.

Two years, parts and labor. Written. Transferable.

Every full rebuild that leaves my bench carries the same 2-year, parts-and-labor warranty. No odometer fine print, no service-log gotchas, no separate labor clause that ejects you at the first failure. If my work breaks, I fix it on my dime. Wherever you are.

2-year warranty

If it fails in month 23, I eat the rebuild.

Every rebuild I hand back gets 24 months of cover on the parts and the labor. If it comes apart on you in that window, you don't pay again. That's on me.

What's in the warranty

Two promises, spelled out.

I. Ships nationwide

Move out of Florida? The warranty goes with you.

Call me with the failure. Depending on what broke, I'll either tell you how to get the unit back to me, or I'll authorize a shop near you to do the warranty work and settle with them directly. You don't pay twice. You don't ship a transmission on your dime.

Coverage: all 50 states. Claim turnaround: same week.

II. Parts AND labor

Not parts only. Not labor only. Both.

Most warranties cover the part and leave you paying for the re-install. Mine covers both. You drop the truck and pick it up. No second invoice.

III. Transferable

Sell the truck? The new owner keeps it.

Warranty follows the vehicle, not you. New owner shows me the invoice, I honor it. No transfer paperwork.

Fig. 05 · What the 2 years cover

Here's what the 2 years cover.

Plain English, no fine print trickery. If something I rebuilt fails inside 24 months, I fix it. Here's exactly what that means.

01

Parts

  • Every internal component I installed
  • Clutch packs, bands, solenoids, torque converter
  • Seals and gaskets from the rebuild kit

02

Labor

  • Full R&R (remove and reinstall)
  • Rebuild labor, front to back
  • No "diagnostic fee" to reopen a warranty job

03

Transferable

  • Sell the truck, the warranty goes with it
  • Nationwide. Any ATRA shop can service.
  • No registration forms, just keep the receipt

04

What's not covered

  • Abuse, racing, tow capacity exceeded
  • External damage (impact, flood, fire)
  • Fluid service skipped past 30,000 miles

I'm Anthony. I run this shop. My crew does the work; I sign off on every rebuild before it leaves. If something's wrong after we're done, you call me, not a service advisor.

Warranty questions I get

Before you ask.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the truck?

Yes. If you sell the vehicle within the 2-year window, the warranty goes with it. New owner shows the invoice, I honor it. No paperwork on your end.

What's NOT covered?

Abuse, neglect, or modifications I didn't do. If you add 80 horsepower and melt a clutch pack, that's on you. If a bad ground wire cooks a solenoid I replaced, that's on me. I should have caught it.

Is there a mileage cap?

No mileage cap on the 2-year window for private passenger use. Fleet and commercial vehicles get a separate warranty. Call me and we'll talk terms based on how hard you work the truck.

If I could give 10 stars I would.. My transmission in my handicap equipped. Suburban went got it to Anthony's shop. He changed his schedule around for me and managed to get me back on the road
