The job that built the shop's reputation. I quote 2 weeks to buffer for parts, but most rebuilds are back in your hands in about 3 days, all with a 2-year warranty written on the invoice. Diagnostics are free.
Fig. 01 · What this is
Here's how this service actually works.
You drop the truck off. I tear it down the same day, no charge, and I call you before I order a single part. Plain-English diagnosis, honest number, work done on my bench. No subcontractors, no middlemen. Diagnostics are free; you pay when I start ordering parts.
Turnaround
Quoted: 2 weeks. Delivered: about 3 days.
I'd rather quote long and deliver early. I work on one transmission at a time on my bench, so yours isn't sitting in a queue. The dealer's at 3 weeks; I'm looking at Tuesday.
Fig. 03 · What usually breaks
I'll tell you what's wrong before I crack the case.
GM 4L60E slipping in 3rd
Nine times out of ten it's the 3-4 clutch pack glazed from heat. I can usually tell before I open it up.
Ram 68RFE banging into gear
Usually a worn pressure-regulator and a tired torque converter. HD rebuild with a billet TCC fixes it for good.
Ford 10R80 harsh 2-3 shift
Solenoid body is the usual suspect. If the fluid's still pink, we can often skip the rebuild altogether.
Fig. 21 · The rebuild, step by step
What actually happens when you say go.
Every unit gets a teardown photo set. Burnt clutches look like this [FIG. 01] and you see them before I quote the number.
Day 01 · Pulled & torn down
The unit goes on my bench. You see what I see.
Josh pulls the unit, I open the case. Teardown and diagnosis are free. You pay when I start ordering parts. I photograph every burnt clutch plate, every scored drum, every cracked seal and text them to you. Nothing gets ordered before you approve the damage report. No surprise line items at pickup, no "we found more" phone call three days in.
Real turnaround: about 3 days. I quote 2 weeks to buffer for parts.
Day 02 · Firm number
Parts ordered from Raybestos or OE.
I call you with the exact number. You say go. I order the master rebuild kit. Not the cheap stuff.
Day 03-05 · Built & tested
Road-tested before you get the keys.
My hands, my torque wrench. Bench-tested, reinstalled, 30-mile road loop. I text you when the keys are ready.

If I could give 10 stars I would.. My transmission in my handicap equipped. Suburban went got it to Anthony's shop. He changed his schedule around for me and managed to get me back on the road
Rebuild questions I get
Before you call.
What does a full rebuild cost?
Car and light truck rebuilds run $3,800 to $4,200. Heavy-duty diesel and Allison rebuilds run $4,500 to $6,000. I quote you the exact number after teardown. Never before.
Do you ship rebuilt transmissions?
Yes. I've shipped rebuilt units to customers in other states. You ship me the core, I send back the rebuild with the same 2-year warranty. Call for crating and freight details.
How is your price so much under the dealer?
No dealer overhead. No service manager taking a cut. I work out of a shop behind my house, so the savings go straight to you. Same parts, same warranty, about 30% less.
