Make-specific rebuild
Every GM I’ve had on the bench.
Silverado 1500 to 3500. Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Sierra. Cadillac Escalade. If it’s got a 6L80, 8L90, 10L80, or the old 4L60E, I’ve had it apart, and I know what they break first.
The 8L90 is a rough-shifting beast out of the factory. Valve-body and TCC issues all over the forums. I’ve rebuilt enough of them to know the fix isn’t more software. It’s a proper valve body repair with Sonnax parts.

If I could give 10 stars I would.. My transmission in my handicap equipped. Suburban went got it to Anthony's shop. He changed his schedule around for me and managed to get me back on the road
Anthony and Jamie were amazing, great mechanics with great advice. They'll help you with just about anything you need and they're honest. Built a new transmission for my Chevy Blazer and it runs better than ever now!
Anthony is a great guy! He rebuilt the transmission in my 07 Cadillac Escalade. Had it done properly and professionally, in a matter of a few days. I definitely recommend this man's business any day of the week
Did an amazing job rebuilding my suburban. Quick turn around time and Anthony was very good with communicating with me the whole time during the process. Highly recommend
What GM owners ask me
Before you call.
My 8L90 shifts hard. Is that normal?
It’s common, but no, it’s not okay. The 8L90 responds to a Sonnax valve-body fix and a TCC clutch job. If GM’s recalibrations didn’t solve it, the hardware needs help.
Can I tow with a rebuilt 4L60E?
Yes. But do an HD build. Upgraded clutch stack, extra cooler, beefier sunshell. Runs forever on a towing Suburban.
