Chapter 01 · The shop
It’s Anthony, Jami, and Josh. That’s the whole shop.
Anthony DeFranco opened a home shop in Spring Hill, Florida and has been building transmissions from his own bench ever since. No service advisor, no dealer overhead, no waiting room with stale coffee. You call the shop, he answers. You drop the truck, he diagnosis it that day and calls you with a number before ordering a single part. Call the shop directly at (352) 232-8364.
Walk in and you’ll meet the whole crew. Anthony runs the front of the shop. He’s the guy who picks up when you call, books the drop-offs, and walks you through what we find when we open it up. Jami keeps the work moving on the bench so vehicles don’t sit waiting. Fast turnaround isn’t magic, it’s three people who actually care.
Nobody gets handed off to a call center. If you drop the truck, you talk to one of us face-to-face. Anthony signs off on every rebuild before it leaves the shop, and most rebuilds carries a 2-year parts-and-labor warranty written on the invoice.

What I do, and what I don’t
I don’t do oil changes. I don’t do brakes. I rebuild transmissions.
A shop that tries to do everything does nothing especially well. I picked one thing, the hardest thing under the car, and got good at it.
Quoted my transmission less than any other shop around. Completed it in a few days and now my vehicle runs smooth. Kept me up to date with the entire progress and explained what was being done.
