Ford transmission repair & rebuild.

F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, Expedition, Explorer. 10R80, 6R80, 6R140, 4R75.

Make-specific rebuild

Every Ford I've had on the bench.

F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, Expedition, Explorer. If it's got a 10R80, 6R80, 6R140, or the older 4R75, I've rebuilt it. Multiple times.

Fords are half of what rolls through here. I know which bearings are fragile, which solenoids go first, and which clutch packs Ford got wrong from the factory. I've got the kits on the shelf.

Drop the make, model, and year when you call. I'll tell you what commonly breaks on yours before you tow it in.

I have a 2011 Ford F150 with transmission problems, I visited three different places, I did not like the recommendations and the prices were far from my budget. I received an ad on Facebook from this place, I sent a message with 1500 doubts

What a Ford rebuild usually runs.

Every truck is different, so these are ranges, not fixed prices. I give you the exact number before I order a part.

F-150 / Bronco

$3,800-$4,200

10R80 or 6R80 full rebuild. Parts + labor + 2-year warranty.

F-250 / F-350 Super Duty

$4,500-$6,000

6R140 rebuild. HD kit available for trucks that tow heavy.

Solenoid-only

$380-$620

If I open it up and it's just a solenoid, that's the whole fix. I'll tell you before you pay for a rebuild you don't need.

What Ford owners ask me

Before you call.

Is the 10R80 really that fragile?

Harsh shifts and torque-converter shudder are the 10R80 signature. Ford issued multiple TSBs, most of which don't fix the root cause. A proper rebuild with upgraded TCC clutches holds up.

My F-250 is tuned with a Power Stroke. Can you still build it?

Yes. The 5R110W and 6R140 both respond well to upgraded internals. Tell me the tune and I'll spec the clutches for it.

How much under the Ford dealer?

Typically $800 to $1,800 less on a full rebuild. Same parts, 2-year warranty, plus I photograph the failure and show you what actually broke.
